Frying function
This function is used for frying on the front hotplates, regulating the temperature of the pan. This function cannot be activated on multiple front hotplates at the same time. The oil and fat do not overheat.
Pans to use with the frying function
Pans are available which are best suited to this frying function. Special pans can be purchased at a later date as an optional accessory from specialist outlets or from our Technical Assistance Service. Always quote the corresponding HZ390210", HZ390220", HZ390230" reference. Food can also be fried in a small amount of oil.
Points to note
Never heat oil, butter or lard without keeping an eye on it. This will mean that the automatic temperature regulation will not work. You can use a splatter guard, which will mean that the automatic temperature regulation function will work. If using butter, margarine, olive oil or pork lard, select the rehogar temperature setting.

Temperature settings

Programming instructions
Select the right temperature setting from the table. The m indicator is shown on
the hotplate display on hotplates which have this function.

+ or - symbols on the required hotplate. The basic setting appears: + symbol = medium temperature level - symbol = low temperature level The S indicator lights up with the selected temperature level. The frying function has been activated.
The S indicator on the frying function stays on until the frying temperature is reached. [. . . ] Never use: H Abrasive products H Aggressive cleaning products, such as stain removers and oven sprays H Sponges which may scratch H High-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners Glass scrapers Remove stubborn dirt with a glass scraper. Do not use the scraper cover to clean the surface of the cooking hob as this could scratch the surface.
