Arranging utensils in the dishwasher
Loading the dishwasher
Remove large food remnants. parts with curves or indentations are at an angle, thereby allowing water to drain. Very small utensils should not be washed in the machine, as they may fall out of the baskets. Cutlery should be placed in the dishwasher always unsorted and with the eating surface pointing downwards.
Detergents
Information about detergents
In your dishwasher you can use liquid or powder proprietary dishwasher detergents which are on the market (not liquid handwash). Phosphate and chlorine free If phosphate free detergents are used with hard tap water, white deposits may be deposited more easily on utensils and the container walls. This may result in increased tea residue or discoloration on plastic parts. This can be remedied by: using a more intensive wash programme or dispensing a larger amount of detergent or using detergents which contain chlorine. See detergent packaging to determine whether a detergent is suitable for silver parts. If you have further questions, we recommend that you contact the advice centres of the detergent manufacturers.
Unloading the dishwasher
At the end of the programme leave the utensils to cool down for approx. Select a programme with the programme selector (rotate in a clockwise direction only). Attention If the programme selector 3 is fully rotated once in a clockwise direction, the detergent dispenser opens and dispenses its contents. The detergent dispenser must then be refilled.
End of programme
The programme ends when the pump noise stops and the programme selector has reached the original position 0 (A).
Exception: The "Prerinse" programme ends when mark "B" is reached. The programme selector can now be rotated in a clockwise direction to the original position 0 (A). If the programme selector is not rotated manually to the original position 0 (A), the programme selector will automatically run to the original position 0 (A) after a specific time.
Switching off the appliance
Switch off the main switch 2 , the door unlocks. It is not necessary to adjust the programme selector.
