[. . . ] If the programmed TP station reception is poor, the unit switches to automatic tracking until the programmed TP station can be restored. TP is switched off after returning to normal display. 55 Radio mode Selecting automatic tracking In all modes and wavebands, automatic tracking can be turned on by pressing and holding the button for more than 2 seconds. In the TP menu: Selecting / cancelling direct programming X Switching mute on/off Ensure that a TP or EON station is selected. Switching on: X Press the Switching on TP menu. This is only possible if, in addition to the telephone, a handsfree unit with loudspeaker output is installed and connected to the radio. In both cases Phone will be displayed.
