Queue Manager
Inadditiontoitsnormalconversionprocesses, ProCoderalsoprovidesjobqueuing capabilities. InsteadofwaitingfortheProCoderapplicationtofinishaconversion, youcan queuejobstotheProCoderQueue Manager whichtakesoverandperformsconversionof queuedjobsmuchliketheprintspoolerhandlesprintingjobs. Inthismanner, theProCoder applicationservesasajobset-uptoolandtheusercanqueuemultiplejobswithdifferent prioritiesandreturnlaterwhentheyarecomplete.
To queue a job:

Toqueueajob, setuptheconversionintheProCoderapplicationasyounormally would, butinsteadofclickingtheConverttabandstartingconversion, clickthe QueuebuttonbelowtheConverttab.
TheJob Queueing windowappears.

IntheJob Name field, enteranameforthejob. Thejob'snamewillappearinthe Queue Manager.

Thehighestpriorityis9whichmeansthejobwillbestarted assoonasanycurrentlyjobsarecomplete, unlesstherearemorepriority9jobs alreadywaiting.
