Module Features
WARNING!
This Photovoltaic Module produces Electricity when exposed to the sun or other light sources. For your safety and the safety of others, please read the entire Installation and Assembly Instruction Manual carefully prior to product installation. Also, carefully read the Module Data Sheet provided with this product. [. . . ] Obtain and use a voltmeter for all systems where there is more than one module in series. - Cover module face(s) completely with opaque material to halt the production of electricity when working with module wiring. Disconnect module(s) from other sources of electricity, such as batteries, when working on system. Other than the junction box cover, do not remove any part installed by Power-Value or disassemble the module. - Do not attempt to install or use a module with broken front cover glass or a perforated backsheet.

Design safety:
- Use this module in systems of up to 600 Volts only. - Determine local permit, installation and inspection requirements before installing module. If not otherwise specified, it is recommended that the requirements of the U. S. - In actual usage, a photovoltaic module may experience conditions which result in more current and/ or voltage than reported at standard test conditions. To account for this, the values of Isc and Voc marked on the module should be multiplied by a factor of 1. 25 when determining component voltage ratings, conductor capacities, fuse sizes, and capacity of controllers. An additional multiplying factor of 1. 25 may also be required by Section 690-8 of the NEC. - Do not install this module integral with a roof or wall of a habitable structure. It has a Class C Fire Rating and must be installed over a roof of appropriate fire resistance. - Rated electrical characteristics are within 10 percent of the measured values at Standard Test Conditions of: 1000W/m2, 25°C cell temperature and solar spectral irradiance per ASTM E 892.
INSTALLATION
1. Module Handling This Power-Value module is made using a glass front cover. Although tough, it is subject to breakage if not properly handled and installed. To help avoid breakage problems: - Always transport and store the module in the shipping container provided. For example, wind can cause a module which is leaning against a fence to fall and break. Avoid application of excessive bending or twisting forces to the module. Mounting - Provide a means of supporting the module that will withstand all expected loads, including those imposed by wind and snow. The mounting method selected should support the module at an angle and orientation which will allow efficient production of energy throughout the year. [. . . ] Every six months inspect all wiring for mechanical damage and corrosion. If deemed desirable, the module(s) may be cleaned using the same methods as for a glass window. Warning: do not attempt to clean a module with a broken glass cover or a perforated backsheet. Once a year, check that growing foliage has not caused module shading. [. . . ]
