When you erase the image, the DPOF setting for that image is deleted at the same time. A confirmation screen will appear to proceed, press the "MENU/OK" button.

If you load a SmartMedia that contains frames specified for printing on another camera, those print specifications are all reset and replaced by the new print specifications.

This function allows you to select whether or not the date of shooting is included on the print. 1Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the menu on the LCD monitor. 2Use "d " or "c " to specify "DATE ON" or "DATE OFF". The setting is then effective until it is changed or until the camera is switched off. 1Use "a(8 )" or "b(9 )" to select "FRAME SET". 2Press the "MENU/OK" button.
1Use "d" or "c" to display the frame to be specified. 2Use "a(8)" or "b(9)" to specify the number of prints. The "d" icon and the number of prints is displayed for the frames for which settings have been confirmed. If the date has been set, the "k" icon is also displayed.

DPOF menu is not displayed during movie or audio recording playback. G DPOF settings cannot be specified for movies or audio recordings.

specifying any other settings, first specify whether the date is to be shown or not.
"d" or "c" to advance or go back a frame automatically confirms the setting.

<To Apply the Settings> When you have finished specifying the DPOF settings, always press the "MENU/OK" button to confirm the settings. The total number of prints appears on the LCD monitor and the menu screen reappears. <To Cancel the Settings> Pressing the "BACK" button only cancels the setting for the currently selected frame. You cannot cancel settings for frames other than the currently selected frame. [. . . ] These actions could damage the cord and cause a fire or electric shock. Load the batteries with the poles positioned as indicated by the and marks. Do not use chargers other than the specified model to charge the battery. Any of these actions can cause the batteries to burst or leak and cause fire or injury as a result.
