k PhotoBook Assist
Create books from your favorite photos. Creating a PhotoBook 1 Select NEW BOOK for k PHOTOBOOK ASSIST in the playback menu (P 65) and choose from the following options: · SELECT FROM ALL: Choose from all available pictures. · SELECT BY IMAGE SEARCH: Choose from pictures matching selected search conditions (P 41).
R Neither photographs a or smaller nor movies can be selected for photobooks.
2 Scroll through the images and press the selector up to select or deselect.
To display the current image on the cover, press the selector down. Press MENU/OK to exit when the book is complete.
R The first picture selected becomes the cover image. Press the selector down to select a different image for the cover.
3 Select COMPLETE PHOTOBOOK (to select all photos or all photos matching the specified search conditions for the book, choose SELECT ALL). The new book will be added to the list in the photobook assist menu.
Q Books can contain up to 300 pictures. Q Books that contain no photos are automatically deleted.

k PhotoBook Assist
Viewing Photobooks Highlight a book in the photobook assist menu and press MENU/OK to display the book, then press the selector left or right to scroll through the pictures. Editing and Deleting Photobooks Display the photobook and press MENU/OK. The following options will be displayed; select the desired option and follow the on-screen instructions. · EDIT: Edit the book as described in "Creating a PhotoBook" (P 42). · ERASE: Delete the book.
Photobooks Photobooks can be copied to a computer using the supplied MyFinePix Studio software.

Viewing Panoramas
If you press the selector down when a panorama is displayed full frame, the camera will play back the picture from left to right. To pause playback, press the selector down; press the selector down again to resume. To delete the panorama, press the selector up (b) when playback is paused. To exit to fullframe playback, press the selector up while panorama playback is in progress.

Movies
Recording Movies
Shoot short movies with sound. During recording, z REC and the time remaining will be displayed in the LCD monitor and sound will be recorded via the built-in microphone (be careful not to cover the microphone during recording).
REC 12s
1 Rotate the mode dial to F MOVIE. Recording ends automatically when the movie reaches maximum length or memory is full.
Zoom adjustment Zoom can be adjusted while recording is in progress. Select the type of zoom available for p MOVIE ZOOM TYPE in the setup menu. Selecting 2 OPTICAL blocks sound being recorded when zooming.

R Before recording, select a frame size using the O QUALITY option in the shooting menu. Select h 1280 (1280 × 720) for an aspect ratio of 16 : 9 (High Definition), f (640 × 480) to record standard definition movies, or g (320 × 240) for longer movies.
