If the subject of the shot is very bright, white vertical streaks or black horizontal streaks may appear in the image during playback. This is normal.
Adjusting volume of movies
Volume can be adjusted while playing back movies.
VOLUME
CAUTION
· You may not be able to playback some movie files recorded on other cameras. · To playback movie files on a PC, save the movie file on the Memory Card or internal memory to the PC's hard disk and then playback the saved file. The sound is difficult to hear.

A Press MENU/OK while playing back movie. B Press n or o to adjust the volume.

C Press MENU/OK to confirm the setting. Camera starts to playback the movie.

Setting Silent Mode
Set Silent mode by pressing and holding DISP/BACK. Use this mode for taking pictures in places where making an operation or shutter sound is restricted. Operation sound, shutter sound, voice memo playback sound, and the self-timer lamp are disabled. · When the use of flash is restricted, press the flash down to change the camera to Suppressed flash mode (p. 67). · Silent mode cannot be set while playing back movies or voice memos.
