Manual abstract: user guide KRESS WTS 900 E
Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.
[. . . ] Pay attention to the direction of rotation: Always hold the machine such that the grinding dust or sparks fly away from the body. Check the working area with a metal detector in order to avoid damaging any concealed electrical leads, or water and gas pipes. [. . . ] For disassembling the protective guard 4, remove the 2 screws and take off the counterflange. By pressing the projecting front edge of the On/Off switch 1, it returns to its initial position. It must be possible to move the grinding tools slightly, but they should not sit too loosely on the spindle. The motor slowly runs up to no-load speed, thereby protecting the user and the gearing and prolonging the life of the machine. Full power is then available and the machine turns at the maximum possible speed. When the load is reduced, the voltage drops again and the sound level for the user is reduced. The bore on the roughing/cutting disc 5 must fit on the clamping flange 6 without any tolerance. E) show how thick (5 10 mm) and thin (1 6 mm) grinding discs have to be fastened to the tool carrier using the flange nut 7. When using a diamond cutting disc, make sure that the arrow pointing in the direction of rotation on the diamond cutting disc agrees with the direction of rotation of the machine (the arrow for the direction of rotation is on the head of the machine). A new grinding tool and any grinding tool that is re-mounted, must run on the machine intended for use at no-load for 30 seconds. Operating personnel and any other persons must stand outside the danger area during the test run. When stressing the machine under normal conditions the housing becomes noticeably a little warmer. However, if the housing becomes hot, this means that the motor has been over-strained, and can become damaged. By running the machine at no-load, the motor cools down very quickly again and work can be continued. [. . . ] We reserve the right to repair defective parts or replace them with new parts. Improper use or handling as well as opening of the machine by unauthorised repair agencies voids the guarantee. [. . . ]
