[. . . ] For further information and explanations, read carefully the user instruction manual of the engine. WHEN THE ENGINE RUNS: stand behind the mower's handle, press slightly the control handle (4) and push slowly forward the control rod (3) until the engement, then push it deeply. At this point release the wheels control lever (2) until on start, the machine moves forward; now you can start your work. Once the machine has been set up properly, start the engine as follows: a)If the engine is cold, position the accelerator lever (1) on START. [. . . ] J)For reasons of safety, the engine must never exceed the number of revs (r. K)Take care when starting the engine and make sure to follow the user instructions. When the engine is turning, it is absolutely indispensable to prevent anybody from approaching the front of the machine. L)Whenever leaving the bar mower unattended, first make sure to turn off the engine. M)Should the mowing bar have hit against an obstacle, turn off the engine, remove the spark plug cap, and then check the bar thoroughly. Should the bar not work properly, have it checked by a qualified technician. A)Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are kept well tightened down so as to work in conditions of perfect safety. B)Never leave the machine with fuel in the tank where the fuel vapours could reach naked flames or sparks. C)Give the engine enough time to cool off before putting the equipment in any narrowly enclosed environment. D)Keep the engine, silencer, and petrol tank free from grass, leaves and excess lubricant in order to reduce the danger of fire. E)For safety reasons, make sure to replace worn-out or damaged parts in due time. F)Should you drain off the fuel tank in order to store the bar mower away for the winter, make sure to carry out this job in the open air. G)Install the cutting tools following the corresponding instructions and use exclusively tools bearing the Manufacturer's or Supplier's name or trademark and the reference number. H)To protect your hands during disassembly or assembly of the cutting tools, wear suitable protective gloves. A)When using the bar mower machine, wear strong footwear (boots or heavy shoes) and long trousers. B)Before starting mowing, make sure that the mowing bar is properly fastened and the protective sheath has been removed. c)During engine startup , under no circumstances lift up the machine. D)Turn off the engine and disconnect the cap of the spark plug whenever: lremoving the protection devices ltransporting, lifting or displacing the machine from the working area lcarrying out maintenance or cleaning lcarrying out any operation on the cutting tools lleaving the bar mower machine unattended. For this purpose disengage the two skids from the blade-holder (16), loosen screws (17), and then either lmove the skids (16) above or below the blade (15) into the desired position. ADJUSTMENT: This has to be carried out when the distance of the teeth between the blade and the counter blade are not too for away from one another. This operation should be carried out, when the blade unit is disassembled and by clamping it in a vice. However it is also possible to make the adjustment with the machine assembled, In this case the blade must be disengaged. [. . . ] - parts that have been damaged by assembly or use not in compliance with the specifications of this booklet. It is clearly understood that the present warranty would be automatically invalidated, if modifications were to be carried out on the machine without the consent of the manufacturer or if nonoriginal items were to be assembled on the machine. Furthermore, the manufacturer declines all liability as regards civil responsibility deriving from improper use of the machine that is not in compliance with the rules of use and maintenance. Technical service during the guarantee period will be recognized only if the request made at the authorized technical service centre is accompanied by valid proof of purchase. [. . . ]
