The Names menu is your directory. You can enter new names, write and send them messages and consult the list of records. You scroll through the list pressing < or >, or by entering the first letter of the name (e. g. , press the 6 key once to reach names starting with "M", 3 times for names starting with "O").

Press , , select <New>, enter a new name using the Basic Text Entry mode (see page 9), and press , to confirm. Enter the phone number and press , .

Selected Name
In the names menu, select a name and press , twice to: Send SMS your correspondent, Delete the selected name and number (press , to confirm), or Change the selected name and all related information.
Own number
Depending on your subscription, selecting Own Num. If your SIM card doesn't contain your phone number(s), an editing screen allows you to store it (or them). We advise you to enter your mobile number(s) as well as any other relevant information.

Although all its fields can be empty, the Own num. You can also select a record in the Call list and press ) to dial the corresponding number.
Reset
Press , then select Call list, press , and select Reset to delete the content of your call list. Press , to confirm.
Extras

The currency used for the conversion is determined by the country where you have subscribed. The -> Euro menu enables you to convert a sum into Euros by entering the amount and pressing , . The <- Euro menu enables you to convert a sum from Euros by entering the amount and pressing , .

These two options are preset as hotkeys (see "Hotkeys" page 9).

Calculator This menu provides the following functions: Addition By pressing the * key. Calculator Subtraction Multiplication Division
By pressing the * key 3 times. By pressing the * key 4 times.
By pressing the * key twice.
Equals By pressing the # key. Calculator accuracy is to 2 decimal places and is rounded up to the higher decimal figure. Alarm clock This menu allows you to set the alarm clock: Once activates the alarm at a set Alarm clock hour on a set day, Every day activates the alarm at a set hour every day.

The alarm clock will ring even if you turned you phone off, but NOT if the Ringer volume is set to Off (see page 9). Press any key to stop the alarm ringing.
Call counters This menu allows you to handle the cost and duration of your calls.

To check the duration of incoming and outgoing calls and set counters to zero.
Accumulated cost
To check the accumulated cost and set the counter to zero (subscription dependent). [. . . ] If the network doesn't send the caller's number, the phone will display Call 1 instead. Only charge the battery in an environment where the temperature does not go below 0°C (32°F) or above 50°C (113°F). In other cases please contact your phone supplier.

You are not sure that you are receiving calls properly
To receive all calls, make sure that none of the features "Conditional call forward" or "unconditional call forward" is activated (see page 11). This network and subscription dependent feature may display one of the following icons: F call forward unconditional to number
f call forward unconditional to voice mailbox
Also note that backlight and vibra alerts will automatically be deactivated when the phone temperature reaches 60°C. [. . . ]
