3. Rotate the menu PUSH dial to highlight EXPOSURE, and press the dial in to display the EXPOSURE menu.

Steady PixTM Feature
The Steady Pix feature corrects slight shaking of images during some recording modes. · When recording through a vehicle's window.

4. Rotate the menu PUSH dial to highlight MANU (manual) and press the dial in. Press the menu PUSH dial in twice to select an exposure and remove the menus.
Note: To return to auto exposure, select AUTO in the EXPOSURE menu or set the POWER switch to CAMERA AUTO.
To Use the Steady PixTM Feature
· Press the STEADY PIX button to turn the Steady Pix feature on. The Steady Pix indicator ( ) appears in the viewfinder or on the LCD monitor. · Press the STEADY PIX button to turn the Steady Pix feature off. The Steady Pix indicator ( ) disappears.
Notes: Turn the Steady Pix feature off when using a tripod. There is a small change in the picture size when using the Steady Pix feature. Accurate stabilization may not be possible if hand shake is excessive or when shooting the following: · Subjects with vertical or horizontal stripes. · Scenes with low-contrast backgrounds.
Conditions Requiring Manual Exposure · When recording with a bright background or reverse lighting. · When recording with a very dark background or very bright subject. · When recording a reflective natural background -- such as a beach or when skiing.

Fade or Wipe In or Out
You can add a professional touch to your recordings when you fade or wipe in and out of scenes. The speed of the fade or wipe is controlled by the camcorder.

1. The indicator for the fade or wipe you select will appear.

SCROLL wipe to have · Select the scene wipe in with a black screen from the bottom to the top or wipe out from the top to the bottom. · Select SLIDE wipe in with a new image from right to left or wipe out with a black screen moving from left to right. · Select DOOR wipe to have the scene wipe in with a black screen moving from the center out to the sides or wipe out moving from the sides into the center. · Select CW:CORNER to wipe in from the upper right corner to lower left corner or wipe out from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. · Select WW:WINDOW to have the next scene wipe in from the center to the corners covering the previous scene. [. . . ] · Take your unit to the Authorized RCA Camcorder Service Center of your choice. · Show the Authorized RCA Camcorder Service Center representative evidence of purchase date, such as a bill of sale.
