The 950 is a compact, dual guitar preamp designed for a variety of modern guitar sounds. The unit features two drive controls for distortion adjustment, an Edge control for the overall tone adjustment, a presence control for high end sibilance adjustment, and a switch for selecting either a 15 inch, 12 inch, or 10 inch open-back speaker cabinet sound. When both distortions are activated, the output is controlled by OUT 2. To achieve the best results from your RFX950, please read this manual carefully. Your RFX950 was carefully packed at the factory in a protective carton. Nonetheless, be sure to examine the unit and the carton for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. If obvious physical damage is noticed, contact the carrier immediately to make a damage claim. We suggest saving the shipping carton and packing materials for safely transporting the unit in the future. DESCRIPTION DRV 1 DRV 1&2 EDGE ON OUT1 OUT 1: Controls the overall signal level of the RFX950 when the unit is activated and the DRV 1&2 LED is OFF. OUT 2: Controls the overall signal level of the RFX950 when the unit is activated and the DRV 1&2 LED is ON. SPEAKER SIMULATOR: Selects the speaker size being simulated by the RFX950. In the 15 position, a 15 inch speaker is simulated, the 12 position, and 12 inch speaker is simulated etc. [. . . ] To change the battery, remove the battery compartment cover and replaced with a 9-volt (alkaline preferred) battery. The battery cover should be put back in place with the extending flange toward the output side of the pedal. Completely remove the battery if the unit is being operated with an external power supply (ROLLS PS27), or if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time. [. . . ]
