SA-ZX3 Keypad Splitter for Russound Controllers Connections The SA-ZX3 connects to the controller's keypad port with an RJ45 CAT-5 patch cable. Attach one end of an RJ45 CAT-5 patch cable to the controller's Keypad Port, and the other end to the SA-ZX3 Controller Keypad Port. Use an RJ45 CAT-5 patch cable between each SA-ZX3 Keypad Port and an RJ45 wall plate. Determine the length of CAT-5 needed to run between the wall plate and the room where the keypad is located. Terminate the CAT-5 as instructed at the wall plate using T568A standard. At the keypad end, terminate the CAT-5 using the 110 punchdown connection on the back of the keypad. Instruction Manual SA-ZX3 Overview The SA-ZX3 Keypad Splitter is an RNET® or CA controller system accessory that converts one Keypad Port on a controller into connections for up to three keypads. The SA-ZX3 can also be used to provide additional power when two or more UNO-TS2 Touchscreens are connected to a CAV6. 6 or CAM6. 6 controller. The SA-ZX3 connects to the controller's keypad port with an RJ45 CAT-5 patch cable. Power Supply Each SA-ZX3 requires its own power supply. The 1201A power supply provides 12VDC 1A to power the SA-ZX3 and attached keypads.
