Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles. The tool can be turned "ON" or "OFF" by squeezing or releasing the trigger. The speed can be adjusted from the minimum to maximum nameplate RPM by the pressure you apply to the trigger. Apply more pressure to increase the speed and release pressure to decrease speed (Fig. "LOCK-ON" BUTTON The "Lock-ON" button, located in the handle of your tool allows for continuous operation at maximum RPM without holding the trigger (Fig. TO UNLOCK THE TRIGGER: squeeze trigger and release it without depressing the "LockON" button. [. . . ] If this procedure is not followed, the tool will have a tendency to torque or twist in your hands when the nut or bolt seats. Use of the "Lock-ON" button feature will provide a much easier operation. Operate the brush with the lightest pressure so only the tips of the wire come in contact with the work. If heavier pressures are used, the wires will be overstressed, resulting in a wiping action; and if this is continued, the life of the brush will be shortened due to wire fatigue. [. . . ]
